    During this professional workshop, attendees will gain an understanding of the value of managing existing soil, water and tree resources for the benefit of construction projects and the community. Instructor Jamie Blackburn will present an overview of the tree preservation methods and case-studies of various complex construction projects across the city and state which involve trees. Topics will be covered such as:

    • tree inventories and assessments
    • recompense
    • silvicultural prescriptions
    • latest techniques for tree preservation
    The program will be of interest to homeowners, builders, landscape contractors, landscape architects, engineers, construction and program managers, and environmental scientists.
