    TREEKEEPERS 2015

TreeKeepers was started in 2008 to provide practical tree education. Over the course of 7 Saturday morning sessions (excluding Labor Day weekend), participants will get indoor and outdoor activities, lively presentations, and engaging hands-on demonstrations.

Each 3-hour session is taught by Trees Atlanta staff or community tree experts. Upon completion of the series of 7 sessions, graduates will be trained in a manner that builds skill, pride, and appreciation to continue the stewardship of the urban forest. Participants receive an eastern trees field guide, a native tree, and much more!

Training is for all levels and explores:

    • Atlanta’s Trees & Urban Forests
    • Tree Selection, Planting, & Care
    • Tree Diseases & Invasive Plants
    • Proper Tree Pruning Techniques
    • Project Leadership

    Cost: $85

ISA CEU's available for each session
