Research social scientist Dr. Kathleen Wolf of the University of Washington will be a keynote speaker with an update on the ever-evolving and always enlightening research on trees, greenspace, and human health. To review Dr. Wolf's work, visit her Human Dimensions of Urban Forestry and Urban Greening website. Ray Tretheway, Executive Director of the Sacramento Tree Foundation, will share his organization's area tree canopy analyses and their findings on child, youth, and adult health. Also included: interesting breakout sessions, walking tour of Savannah's urban forest and historic squares, and our annual Excellence in Urban Forestry awards program.
