5 Pesticide Credit Hours in Categories 21, 24, 27; 2 Hours Private Credit;
4.5 Hours ISA Arborist Credits

8:00-8:45 am - Registration and Check-in

8:45-9:00 am - Introduction –Timothy Daly, County Agent-Gwinnett County Extension Aaron Poulsen, Director of the Environmental
Horticulture Department at Gwinnett Tech

9:00-10:00 am - “Pesticide Division Update,”- Steve Cole, Pesticide Field Agent- Georgia Department of Agriculture

10:00-11:00 am - “Management of Nuisance Wildlife Pests in the Landscape” Dr. Mike Mengak, Professor and Wildlife Specialist, The University of Georgia, Warnell School of Forestry & Natural Resources

11:00 am -12:00 pm – “Management of Spring and Summer Diseases on Turfgrasses” Dr. Alfredo Martinez Extension Plant Pathologist, The University of Georgia Department of Plant Pathology

12:00-1:00 pm - Lunch on your own (Cafeteria available in Building)

1:00-2:00 pm - “Insect and Disease Identification and Control on Ornamental Plants in the Landscape”- Kevin Livingston, County Extension Agent, Douglas County Extension

2:00-3:00 pm - “Invasive Exotic Plants in the Landscape: An Emerging Threat” Timothy Daly, County Extension Agent-Gwinnett County Extension

3:00-3:15 pm - Conclusion and credits

The cost is $10.00 per person.
Make checks out to Gwinnett Cooperative Fund.
You can pay at the door but please preregister. NO charge for Gwinnett Tech students or faculty but
preregistration is necessary.
