    Advanced Level II - Natural Area Management Services Webinar Series

    February 23, 2021 – March 18, 2021


    The Georgia Forestry Commission in conjunction with the Virginia Division of Forestry is offering another series of small woodlot management webinars similar to the ones this past fall. Please see the link below to register for the upcoming Natural Area Management Services (small wood-lot management) area evening events. There will be both SAF and ISA credits with both, though this time we will receive a certificate for attending each meeting and we will be responsible for individually submitting for the credit hours.


    Objective: To provide in-depth instruction for green industry professionals (landscapers and arborists)on topics identified in exit surveys of the first webinar series (Intro Level I). Two seminars on related topics will be offered each week for a month.


    Dates & Times:

    February 23 through March 18, 2021 (Tuesdays and Thursdays - two sessions each week for 4 weeks) - 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.


    Registration:

    To register,  go to the link & scroll down (second event down) and then complete the following steps:  link https://www.treesvirginia.org/events

    1) Select - Advanced Level II - Natural Area Management Services Webinar Series

    February 23, 2021 – March 18, 2021

    2) Go to register (individual)

    3) Fill in required contact info

    4) In the comment box type: Georgia Scholarship

    5) Skip over registration fee

    6) In payment information - select: Pay by Check (Checks payable to Trees Virginia) ​*It's really important that you select this option and put in comment box: Georgia Scholarship. This will zero out your registration made possible through a US Forest Service grant.

    7) Then select Process Registration and you should receive an email confirming your registration.



    A Zoom link will be sent via email in your registration confirmation. Please retain this link

    About CEUs: A certificate of attendance will be provided to all “live” session attendees which can be used to obtain professional development credits. The course has been submitted to several organizations (such as ISA and SAF) for prequalification so certificates will be accepted.
