What we will learn: Direct injection of products into trees has been performed for centuries for various reasons. Micro injections of tree protection/health products have become popular over the past few decades. When employing micro injections, it is important to understand what problem you are trying to solve, how the tree will respond, and what site conditions are prevalent. During this discussion we will discuss the best management practices for tree injections, when micro injections are an appropriate tool, and the latest research regarding tree injection tree wounding response.
